Weekend Wednesday
11.10.04 (9:08 am)   [edit]

Weekend Wednesday of 10th week :)  Almost over....two days of class, a fun weekend, and four finals to go until I hop a plane to warm, sunny beaches....*sigh* :)

I have been looking for a job for this summer.  The ideal job would be math research at the U, so that I can still teach at camp and be close to home without living at home.  However, I don't think this job exists.  If I can't find something math-like and intern-y, my backup plan is to move to a random iowan city with therese and work at hyvee together.  I <3 Hyvee!

This weekend is going to be so much fun.  We're baking for dance team, then having a big/little spa night and game night at upstairsville with a roomie big/little slumber party on Friday.  Saturday is dancing and bake sale at the football game, mary kay party at the house, and then the Nutcracker.  That's the best part - the Moscow Ballet is putting on the Nutcracker in Terre Haute.  Last weekend Big and Rich and Gretchen Wilson were here.  One of the very few advantages the Haute has to SuFu.

Saturday night in Vermillion is the state championship football game.  Riders vs. Knights.  Jason is playing long snap!!!  I'm super excited and super proud of him - can't wait to see the video!  Go Riders!

Okay, blog break over...sleepy time.

10th week laziness
11.07.04 (11:51 am)   [edit]

It's been an insanely long time since I've posted, but I felt the need to blog.  It's the weekend before 10th week and I don't want to do anything.  I slept in and I intend on watching TV and being completely lazy for the rest of the day.  Currently I'm watching A Little Princess, then the Au Pair marathon starts :)

This quarter has sucked and I can't wait for it to be over.  I get to take two math classes next quarter, and both are stats classes!  I'm going to Florida over Thanksgiving break to see my family and get a little R and R in before more endless days and weeks of studying.

I want something to count down to again...anticipation makes life so much more fun.

So hungry...off in search of breakfast - at 5pm.
